Danton IT Solutions Support Portal is due to be retired on the 1st May 2015
When Danton IT Solutions launched back in March 2013 – we needed a way that our customers could log jobs on our website. After trailing a few applications we launched out support desk using an open source app called osTicket.
osTicket initially proved handy at logging calls and providing stats but we have recently seen its use fall to almost zero.
Over the last year we have seen a trend emerging and now the majority of jobs logged with us now come via other means – namely social media, direct email, via our online contact forms or via the telephone.
It is because of this that we have made the decision to move away from a formal job logging portal for now.
We would rather invest our time and efforts into building customer relationships than into a feature on our site that is little used.
We plan to officially retire the job logging portal on the 1st May 2015.
